President’s Letter: October 2018

by: Terry Dougherty, CMP, 2018 PCMA Southeast President

It is hard the believe that the holidays are just around the corner and 2018 is almost over. Where has this year gone? I have enjoyed every moment serving as the PCMA SE chapter president and I cannot say enough about the AMAZING Board and committee members that I have served with and that have worked so hard to make this year experiential for our members. Thank you all for what you have done to make this year a success!!

I am so proud of the year we have had as a Chapter. Along with the great programs and networking opportunities we have offered, we have been able to give back to the community throughout our Chapter’s region with the Covenant House Community Outreach, Snax Sax, Foundation for Hospital Art, Give Kids the World, Children’s Miracle Network, Ronald McDonald House, Guitars for Food and the Atlanta Food Bank. We also raised money for the PCMA Education Foundation.

2018 also marked our Chapter’s 25th Anniversary. As our year winds down, we look forward to our PCMA SE 25th Anniversary Celebration and Annual Meeting at Upstairs Atlanta. This will be a great networking event with great food, drink, activities and give-back opportunities. We are going to have a great time celebrating our 25 years as a chapter. Many of our past presidents will be in attendance as well; and it will give you an opportunity to get to know a wonderful group of professionals whose leadership over the years has contributed to the success of the chapter.

I want to thank each and everyone one of you for giving me this wonderful opportunity to serve as our Chapter’s President. It was an amazing experience and has given me many fond memories.

I look forward to seeing you at our November celebration and wish you and your families a wonderful, safe holiday season.

Sincerely,
Terry Dougherty, CMP
President, PCMA SE
