The recent PCMA Southeast Chapter November Program was very successful. The Asheville CVB was a sponsor of the program and luncheon held at the Omni CNN Center. We were able to network before and after the program. Several new contacts were made while reconnecting with Atlanta area clients.  The food and staff at the Omni were top notch. The PCMA staff was very attentive and a delight to work with. They truly cared about our concerns and needs.  We would definitely consider a future PCMA sponsorship.

The Southeast Chapter of PCMA has provided Discover The Palm Beaches with excellent opportunities to showcase our Meetings and Convention value proposition, through their great events, educational programs, and strong network of event planners. The board remains committed to bringing great educational formats in fun networking events that attract some of the best planners in the Southeast. We consider this chapter as an excellent sales and marketing channel for our Destination Marketing Organization.

We had a wonderful time at the PCMA SE meeting that we sponsored. Everyone treated us very well and it was awesome to have the chance to get up in front of the whole group and explain exactly who we are and what we do, which can be hard with other advertising channels. I was especially happy with the reception why we got from the PCMA staff running the luncheon. They welcomed us warmly when we picked up our name tags and were there to help if we needed anything the entire time. This chapter clearly has the great culture and community that you don't always see in volunteer organizations.

In the busy meeting world of Atlanta, we pay careful attention to how and where we spend our resources to both attract new clients and network with existing friends and customers. The PCMA Educational Lunch event Sponsorship offers us the best of all worlds to connect with everyone at one location in a friendly professional manner to help offer our brand to a very influential audience. When I weigh ROI, I consider the PCMA Lunch sponsor perhaps our best investment. It allows Jekyll Island to briefly share what is new and in the plans for future hotels, restaurants and Island plans to better serve the conference attendees. It offers a unique environment that turns strangers into trusted business relationships and those relationships to develop into friendships. We have already secured future sponsorship opportunities with PCMA and look forward to our next luncheon event to reconnect with our friends and clients.

Mike Whittington & Associates, Inc. has been at several PCMA SE events including the quarterly programs and the annual bowling event. I always find the PCMA SE events to offer great opportunities for exposure for my company. We will continue our support of future chapter programs in 2015 and beyond!!
