PCMA SE Member Erin Simcox, Visit Knoxville Named One of PCMA’s 2019 “20 in Their Twenties”

Erin Simcox, Senior Manager of Housing at Visit Knoxville runs the convention housing services department for all market segments. Simcox has a strong passion for event technology and pre-event services, specifically pertaining to sourcing, housing and room block management, event registration, and creating strategies for pre-event process. Prior to joining the Visit Knoxville team, Simcox served as an Assistant Account Executive for the meetings, incentives, and group travel department at World Travel Services, Inc. (a BCD Travel Company), and as the Coordinator of Travel Services for USA Baseball national teams and events. She is a Knoxville native and proud alumna of the University of Tennessee.

“I feel incredibly honored to be recognized as one of 20 recipients of the PCMA “20 in Their Twenties” in 2019!,” said Simcox. “I chose to get involved with PCMA to further my understanding and knowledge of industry trends, cultivate relationships with the best in the business, and challenge my own creativity and methods of thinking. PCMA offers valuable education, leadership development, and networking opportunities —all of which I believe are crucial to career development at any stage.

I am equally excited that this opportunity has connected me to the PCMA Southeast Chapter.  I am proud to be born and raised in the Southeast, and am fortunate to be able to build my career off of southern hospitality in the region I love most. It will be a privilege to represent the Southeast chapter in 2019, and I look forward to being part of the tribe for many years to come!”
