Help Combat Child Hunger by Joining Us on August 1st

by: Sarah Bigorowski, PCMA SE Community Service Committee

Did you know almost 1 in 4 children in Georgia don’t have enough food to eat? At our August program we will be organizing for a third consecutive time the Snax Sax for Kids program, with the support of our Community Service Committee and Embry Hills United Methodist Church in DeKalb County.

Join your colleagues on August 1st at the InterContential Buckhead Atlanta to participate in this program, by decorating bags that will be stuffed with snacks for students to enjoy on the evenings and weekends. No matter the size of your contribution, every little bit helps. In the past, this program has on average served 350 children a week and delivered 11,559 bags between September and May.

Not only will we be showcasing our artistic abilities by decorating bags, the Chapter will also be accepting snack and cash donations for the Snax Sax for Kids program! Help us kick off back to school time with love!
