Megan Miller, CMP, VEMM, Director of Events at SBI Association Management was awarded Volunteer of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2023.

Megan has been a member of the Southeast Chapter of PCMA for over three years and a Membership Committee volunteer for over a year.  From Chris Colbert, Director of the Membership Committee: “Megan is always prompt, if not the first, to complete her specific assignments and eager to assist in any manner when called upon.  The results of these efforts are a huge benefit to the chapter – because it helps to generate revenue for the chapter – and extremely helpful to the Committee Director who never has to follow up with any email reminders.”

From Megan: “I take great pleasure in contributing my time and effort to PCMA SE because it enables me to engage with an organization deeply committed to the meetings and events industry.  This involvement provides me with invaluable access to educational resources, seminars, and industry insights, ensuring I stay well-informed about the latest trends and best practices in this profession.  My participation in the association consistently exposes me to new and innovative ideas, ultimate enhancing the quality of events I create for my clients.”

Megan is based out of North Carolina, was on-site for a program and unable to join us at last week’s event – special thanks to Chris Colbert for adding the extra element of humor to accepting the award on Megan’s behalf!
