Based on the success of last year’s August Program, we plan to participate again in Snax Sax for Kids!
About the Snax Sax for Kids Program:
The program began in 2008 at Embry Hills United Methodist Church and each week during the school year, Snax Sax for Kids provides weekend snacks for over 350 children at neighboring Dekalb County schools.
To help kick off “back to school,” we will be decorating bags for the students and collecting snack items to fill the bags.
How you can participate:
1. Donate items that will be used to pack the bags.
- Hunt’s pudding packs
- 100% Juice-juice boxes
- Applesauce natural no sugar added
- Fruit cups with no sugar added-natural juice
- Granola bars such as Nutrigrain bars or chewy granola bars
- Lance peanut butter crackers with cheese or plain flavored crackers (Not the Nekot cookie kind)
2. Decorate bag with stickers and markers.
Don’t delay! Online registration closes at noon on Monday, July 31st. You do not want to miss this PCMA SE Program!
