Congratulations to the PCMA Southeast Chapter 2019 Volunteer of the Quarter (Q3): Carla Carroll, Salamander Hotels and Resorts

Thank you Visit Music City and the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corporation for sponsoring the PCMA Southeast Chapter Volunteer of the Quarter and the Year program. Carla Carroll with Salamander Hotels and Resorts was the recipient of our Volunteer of the Quarter award for third quarter 2019.

We asked Carol to share some insight on her volunteer experience.

Why do you volunteer with PCMA?  I love the organization and it honestly has given me the best opportunity to get to know everyone.  I love events, so helping out with the Programs Committee when I can is the least I can do to give back to the organization and to the members!

What inspires you most about volunteering?  Getting behind the scenes to see how things come together within the organization and events, but even more so, the membership and getting to know people.

What would you tell other PCMA members to get them involved? Get the most out of your membership. If you’re like me, you hate that awkward small talk when you don’t know anyone.  Getting involved helps you to get to know people on a more personal genuine level and helps open you up to more networking opportunity to get the best ROI for you and for your company! Plus, this group is FUN! They make it a blast to be involved!
